Ingredients of Thepla

4 Servings
1 cup Wheat flour
1/2 bunch fenugreek leaves ( methi)
1/2 tablespoon yoghurt (curd)
2 pinches salt
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
2 tablespoon dried fenugreek leaves
2 chopped green chilli
4 tablespoon ghee
3/4 cup Gram flour (besan)
1 cup water

How to make Thepla

Step 1
Crunchy and crispy, Thepla is a perfect tea-time delight and can be prepared in just a few minutes if all the ingredients are in place! To prepare this dish, mix flour, gram flour (besan), dried fenugreek, ginger and fresh fenugreek in a bowl. Stir well and add curd and water to knead it into a soft dough.

Step 2
Then prepare small balls from the dough and roll them into thin circles. Then take a tawa and heat it on medium flame. Grease it with ghee or oil and cook the Thepla recipe on tawa. Cook from both sides till it turns golden, serve it hot with some mint chutney and your favourite cup of tea or coffee.
