Tour Day 1 : Siliguri/Bagdogra to Gangtok 135 km. / approx 4. 30 hrs.
On arrival at Siliguri, we can proceed to Gangtok 5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 130 Kms / 04 to 05 hrs.& give you briefing about your tour . After leaving Siliguri we drive along the NH 31A through the dense forests Mahananda Wild Life Sanctuary, the natural playground of wild elephant, tiger and deer. Sevok comes next with its promises for the gorgeous view of Tista river as it comes out from the deep gorge of the Himalayas and spreads itself in the vast plains on North Bengal. From Tista Bazaar follows the winding roads and a picturesque drive through Himalayan hills to Gangtok , the capital of Sikkim. Check into hotel and get refreshed for a free leisure evening. Tour Day 2 : Gangtok Sightseeing full day
After our breakfast we will proceed for local sightseeing in or around Gangtok including Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok. These viewpoints offering panoramic view of snowcapped Himalayan peaks & Gangtok city. Proceed to visit Rumtek Monastery/ Jhakri Falls , Institute of Tibetology to have a glance of Tibetan antics, Orchid House Collection of Himalayan orchids, Enchay Monastery , Dodurl Chorten etc. In the evening visit to M G Marg, the busy market of Gangtok, for shopping and having Sikkimese delicacy at the local restaurant.
Tour Day 3 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandirfull day
On third day of your short escape to Gangtok tour, have breakfast and get ready for short trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Settled at an altitude up to 12, 400ft, Tsomgo Lake is one of the popular tourist spots in Sikkim. Locals here claim that in earlier times, the color of the lake was studied by Lamas in order to predict the future. The water of the lake derives from melting of snow from mountains. Usually, the lake is covered with snow for most of the year. To enjoy the serenity, indulge in Yak ride or mule ride along the lake. Another attraction, Baba Mandir is an important shrine, built in the memory of Baba Harbhajan Singh a soldier; the holy place is now maintained by Indian army. The temple is located at a height up to 1300 ft and is just few kilometres away from Tsomgo Lake. Rest of the evening is free to roam around MG mall road or local shopping complex. Overnight stay at hotel. In case of landslides or any other reason if Tsomgo Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing is provided.

After completing a farewell party drive back to home via same route for your onward journey with happy memories to cherish.
